Your donation is transferred directly to the NGO's bank account via UPI or bank transfer. Curaid never collects, holds, or touches your money. We are a transparency and discovery layer — we help you find verified campaigns and track your impact, but the money flows directly from you to the NGO.

Yes. All NGOs on Curaid hold valid 80G certificates. Under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, you can claim a deduction of up to 50% of your donation from your taxable income. The NGO will issue your 80G receipt directly.

Every campaign on Curaid is tied to one specific child and one specific therapy. After the campaign is funded and therapy is complete, the NGO posts an outcome update with a photo and a note from the therapist. You can see the real impact — first words, first steps, skills learned. This per-child accountability is what makes Curaid unique.

The minimum donation is ₹100. However, a single therapy session typically costs ₹1,500–₹2,500, so we recommend donating at least ₹500 to make a meaningful impact.

Yes. During the donation process, you can choose to keep your name hidden from the public donor wall. The NGO will still receive your details for issuing the 80G receipt.

Under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, donations to eligible organizations qualify for a tax deduction. Most NGOs on Curaid qualify for 50% deduction — meaning if you donate ₹10,000, you can deduct ₹5,000 from your taxable income. The actual tax saved depends on your tax bracket (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, or 30%).

The 80G receipt is issued directly by the NGO, not by Curaid. After your donation is confirmed, the NGO will email you the receipt. You can also request it through your donor dashboard or contact the NGO directly.

To register, your NGO must: (1) be registered under the Indian Trusts/Societies Act, (2) hold a valid 80G certificate, (3) provide specialized therapy for special needs children, and (4) have a verified bank account. No. Curaid is completely free for NGOs. We don't charge platform fees, commission, or any percentage of donations. Donors pay directly to your bank account. We are funded through grants and corporate sponsorships.

Each campaign must be for one specific child and one specific therapy program. You'll provide the child's first name, condition, therapy type, number of sessions needed, cost per session, a brief story, and a photo. Each campaign has a clear funding goal and timeline.

Curaid was founded in March 2026 by Aayush Kapoor and Adyan Rehman, based in Greater Noida. It was born from the observation that no donation platform in India focuses exclusively on special needs children's therapy. Read our full story →
