When you use Curaid, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account. For NGOs, we collect organization details, registration certificates, and bank account information for verification purposes. We do not collect or store payment card details — all donations are transferred directly to NGO bank accounts.
We use your information to: (a) operate and maintain your Curaid account, (b) display your name on campaign donor walls (unless you choose to donate anonymously), (c) send you outcome updates for campaigns you've donated to, (d) verify NGO authenticity, and (e) communicate important platform updates.
We share your information only with the specific NGO you donate to, so they can issue your 80G tax receipt. We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third-party marketers. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for reporting purposes.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. All data transmission is encrypted using TLS/SSL. Access to personal information is restricted to authorized team members only.
Campaign pages display children's first names and photos with explicit written consent from their parents or legal guardians, obtained by the NGO. We do not display full names, addresses, or other identifying information. Parents may request removal of their child's information at any time.
You may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at contact@curaid.in.
For privacy-related concerns, contact us at contact@curaid.in or visit our contact page.
