Curaid is a transparency and discovery platform that connects donors with verified NGOs providing therapy to special needs children. Curaid is not a payment processor or financial intermediary. All donations are transferred directly from donors to NGO bank accounts. Curaid does not collect, hold, or manage donated funds at any point.
By donating through Curaid, you acknowledge that: (a) your funds are transferred directly to the NGO's bank account, (b) Curaid is not responsible for how the NGO utilizes the funds, though we verify NGOs and track outcomes, (c) donations are voluntary and non-refundable once transferred, (d) 80G tax receipts are issued by the receiving NGO, not by Curaid.
NGOs registered on Curaid agree to: (a) provide accurate information about their organization and campaigns, (b) use donated funds exclusively for the stated therapy purpose, (c) post outcome updates within 90 days of campaign completion, (d) maintain valid registration and 80G certification, (e) issue 80G receipts to donors promptly.
NGOs are solely responsible for the accuracy of campaign content, including child information, photos, therapy details, and cost breakdowns. Curaid verifies NGO authenticity but cannot verify every individual campaign claim. However, we actively monitor for discrepancies and take action on reported concerns.
The Curaid name, logo, design, and platform code are the property of Curaid. NGOs retain rights to their organizational content. Donors grant Curaid the right to display their name on donor walls (unless they choose anonymity).
Curaid is a platform that facilitates connections between donors and NGOs. We are not liable for: therapy outcomes, NGO conduct, payment processing errors, or fund misuse. We make every effort to verify NGOs and track outcomes, but we cannot guarantee the actions of third parties.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of Curaid after changes constitutes acceptance.
